Very happy with the stucco

We looked around for the best stucco company, and several people that had stucco done from other companies told us, “we should have used Tesuque.” We called and Bryan came out and gave us a reasonable quote and an approximate timeline. This was actually pretty accurate and spot on as he told us. He told us about the portal and how we would be able to follow the process. (Forward 3 mos). Just as Bryan told us, we were called by Ramona in the office to schedule and it was approximately the length of time he told us. Omar and his crew showed up and performed well, keeping the site clean and following up the whole time. They did a fantastic job applying the stucco and the finish is amazing. Before they left, Omar made sure that it was up to our standards. Bryan and the owner returned, and did the final walk through. There was some overspill on the stucco and on my gutters. Ashton and Juan came out and cleaned up the gutters as well as did a little patching on some areas we noted were missed. I have been very happy with the customer experience with Tesuque. I would totally use them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

After many many years not having a final coat on the house I am very pleased with color coat. I can’t thank Tesuque Stucco enough for the Awesome work they’ve done. What a great team. It was great working with Ramona. Eleazar and his crew did an amazing job. I just love looking at my house when I’m pulling into the yard. We have other contractors asking if it’s a new home. It just makes me happy puts a big smile on my face.

Bryan came to our home to give us an estimate. He was so thorough, after over an hour checking over details, on our roof checking our old stucco top to bottom, he gave us a detailed estimate with pictures. He was honest and was able to determine that our roof did not need to be re-done at this time and why. He was very helpful with the order of our repairs, what needed to happen first as there were many. He gave us many homes to visit to compare colors and was always available when I called. Ramona, the office manager, what a delight, she acted as if I was the only customer they had. She took time with me to choose colors and what a memory! She remembered all these details as I’m sure there are hundreds of homes they are involved in. We got to have our home done in a space that would have waited until fall. All the workers were respectful and picked up, put light fixtures back, cleaned my windows, did a super job. Beginning with Prep crew Victor and finish crew Omar. Project managers came out more than once to oversee and there were no delays! They were so fun to talk to Mark, Juan and Andres. Their color advice a blast as we debated in our favorite colors for stucco and what would look best. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend their work!

Tesuque just completed a major project on our house. Phase 1 involved demolition of irreparable and no longer wanted window trim from 28 windows, many huge, and the prepping of the resultant cavities for filling in with stucco. Phase 2 involved the application of synthetic stucco over the entire house. The project required two tier scaffolding on three sides and one tier scaffolding on two first floor roofs. Getting rid of the window trim and then icing the cake with beautiful new stucco has transformed the appearance of our house, which we designed to capture sun and view and not to win any architectural awards or to be easy to work on.
We had about 20 friendly and diligent professionals contributing to the success of our project and I wish I had all their names. The project began with the sales manager Bryan who said Yes!, we can do that, when I asked if they could remove the hideous trim. The first person to work onsite was the operations manager Juan who came well before the project could begin in order to repair some patches where stucco had totally failed. He and Andres were the managers of the project. Omar and his crew did the extensive preparation and Javier and his crew applied the new color coat. Tesuque owner Martin came by to check on the project and Ramona kept us informed of all the scheduling and handled background logistics. We thank everyone for a terrific project. At least one neighbor is also thankful for the improved appearance.
And we got a tub of premixed stucco, enough to cover 100 sq ft if we incur some kind of damage over the next 10 years, if we mix in a cup of water every three years. Just like your painter leaving you a can of the paint he used. I recommend you consider synthetic stucco. It smells funny for a few days but it’s got a lot going for it, and so does Tesuque Stucco.

We can’t thank the Tesuque team enough for the wonderful experience with our stucco. Ashton was knowledgeable, clearly explained the process, made suggestions and worked with coordinating with our window installs. Jordan was always available by phone and email to answer questions and kept us informed of the schedule through out the entire project.
The installation teams lead by Alfonso and Felipe were polite, funny and worked continuously. It was great to watch how everyone one worked together and they all knew what needed to get done. They kept our yard and the area around the house very clean and made sure things were taped off or covered as to not make a mess. For their convenience and ours, an outhouse was provided. That was an unexpected perk for the workers and us. (Utility workers even visited it - haha!)

Tesuque is the only stucco company I'll ever use or recommend! Although my house isn't quite completed yet, I want to give a big thumbs up to my salesman, Jesse, and the work crew, with Omar as the foreman. Tesuque patiently delayed their work due to (1) other tradesmen working on my property that were delayed, and (2) graciously accommodating two neighbors' situations because the crew needed to work on my walls that are a part of the neighbors' backyards. This pushed Tesuque's work right into Christmas and New Year's. The crew prepped the walls and added new mesh, then reinstalled the things they had removed for the job (such as exterior lighting) so my house would be fully usable and intact until they return after the holiday. Omar said, "I did it the way I would want my own house done."
And did I mention that Jesse met in person with my neighbors (the ones whose yards his crew had to enter to get to my walls) to show them precisely what to expect? I'm super impressed with Jesse, Omar, and his crew. Outstanding workmanship and customer service!

We are so happy with the job Tesuque did on our house! We got bids from several companies and Tesuque was the most expensive but I am confident it was worth every penny. When Matt came out to provide the estimate it was clear he was much more thorough in his inspection recommending important steps that took into account our TPO roof that the others neglected to consider. Then the job itself was managed extremely well by our foreman Benito. He and his team did an outstanding job! Everything was completed with such high quality. I highly recommend Tesuque Stucco!

Victor and his crew earned double stars. They are conscientious, diligent, and meticulous. They communicate well and we especially appreciated that they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. They identified two issues which necessited change orders. I watch them rebuild the wobbly wall--their workmanship is excellent. They have a good eye for all the cracks, holes and gaps that needed to be filled. The finish work is beautiful. We are so pleased.
Additionally, Jordan kept us apprised of the schedule and the weather that changed it. She was easy to reach and always responsive.
Finally, none of this would have happened without Matt's detailed knowledge of both the company and the product. We felt confident when we signed the contract. It went exactly as he said it would.

Felipe's group: Felipe, Luis, Noé, Oscar, Carlos, Jose did an Excellent job with stuccoing my home. I loved absolutely adored the treatment and contact with both Jesse, the coordinator and Jordan, the scheduler. If I had any questions, Jesse was beautiful in answering them. I liked how there was detail in how to work with new windows ... Felipe's group were all detailed and very respectful of their work and communicating what is going on. I am proud and honoured to have Tesuque Stucco to have done the stucco at my home. And if I needed time to pick the right colour, that was given. All steps were discussed ahead of time so I knew what was going to happen at any given time. The detail is what I needed for me and it was given. Pleasant, professional experience start to finish. Alphonse and his crew did a super job and it was a pleasure to watch artists at work. We had a couple of rain days during the job but got a call early on letting us know the crew would not be there which was really helpful.

We are very glad we chose Tesuque Stucco to do our house. It was the best experience we had with a contractor since we moved to New Mexico 50 years ago. It started with Ashton, the sales rep. He was very clear and thorough with his explanation of the proposal and costs for the work and was also very prompt in answering questions even after we signed the contract. Two crews did our work, one for the preliminaries and the other for the finishing. The crew chiefs, Omar and Alfonso (and Alfonso’s son Fernando), kept us informed about what was going to be done each day, reporting what was done, and projecting when they would finish. They eagerly asked if we had any questions and went out of their way to answer the ones we had. The crews arrived each day knowing what they needed to do that day and did not waste time doing it. Jordan, in the office, keep us informed about scheduling, followed up on phone calls, and helped to schedule around some black-out dates that we had.

We are very happy with our Tesuque project, all the exterior stucco on a house with numerous stone corner piers, windows, alcoves, garden walls and exterior skywalk. This was a re-stucco over 22 year old Sto that was badly cracking. First contact was with Matt Mossman who came to the site, explained each step of their process and the materials used (Dryvit) and measured all the stucco spaces. He stayed engaged thru the entire project. We were pleased with the proposal and costs. A five man crew led by Victor did the entire job in 3 weeks (with the 2nd week idle to let all the prep patches, repairs and waterproofing cure). Each man had roles in the prep work and finish and it all proceeded efficiently. (Sorry to say I do not remember all their names as I should for the very good work and communication whenever an issue arose.) Communication with Jordan in the office was so helpful, including discussions with Martin about arranging additional technical expertise needed for some stone coping. At completion the crew restored landscaping edges and outdoor materials moved for the work, leaving all area clean. They even discovered two small stucco areas we just don’t see and dealt with them also. The results are just beautiful, preserving the architects award-winning design, and we are grateful! These folks are truly stucco masters with a smooth-running business.

Outstanding from start to finish. Benito and his crew were terrific every single day they were at the house. In the office...we had Sarah who kept us up-to-date on times, etc. Then there was Ashton in Sales who was also terrific. I highly recommend Tesuque Stucco Company.

We had excellent results with Tesuque Stucco. Benito and his crew did a superb job refinishing the stucco on our house. They were polite, worked hard, always cleaned up, paid careful attention to detail, and made our house look brand new. Working with Tesuque Stucco was a real pleasure.From our first meeting with Ashton we felt comfortable that we made the right decision to use Tesuque. He stayed in touch, and quickly took care of the few problems that existed after the job was completed.
The entire crew was polite and professional, and Victor kept us informed of what was going on. We had no idea how much is involved in stuccoing an entire house. Finally, the office staff, Jordan and Sarah always sounded happy and wanted to make sure any questions we had were quickly answered.

From the moment I got on the phone with Jesse, I knew Tesuque Stucco was the company we wanted for our stucco. Our first conversation was almost an hour.
The next day, Jesse came to the house. He did a very impressive presentation that blew your competitors out of the water! I took to Jesse instantly, but I had to do my due diligence, so I called 6 of your competitors. Each of your competitors was at my house less than 20 minutes Jesse spent 4 hours, went up on the roof, knocked on the stucco all around the house that we currently had. He actually made the effort to make conversation. We felt heard and appreciated. He came inside to get our thoughts and opinions and through his great communication skills, he was able to recommend a product called Terra Neo to compliment the stucco we chose. He is a great listener and picked up on little cues and was able to offer impressive and great solutions. (Something his competitors didn't make the time for.)
He stayed in touch with us while we waited for our turn in line for the installation. He had some creative ideas that we really appreciated because he wasn't just making a sale, he was leaving us with a superior first impression.
I almost forgot to mention the delightful and energetic Jordan and Sara who man the phones for the company. Their delightful personalities shine through the phone. You can tell they care about the people who hire you.
Next came the installation of our stucco. Omar was the leader of the crew, and he was very impressive with his communication skills. First thing, every morning, he would ask if we had any questions or concerns. If we had any, he addressed them right away, before he started the job. He and his crew were always on time and punctual. They were also very polite and thoughtful in their work habits. Omar deserves any and all accolades you can bestow upon him.
During the course of the installation we met Juan and another young man, who's name escapes me ( he has a nose piercing, if that helps) were the project managers. Both were very personable and likable. But it was Juan who came to install the terra neo. He was very efficient and detail oriented in the way he applied the terrain neo. We were ecstatic when he finished.
Now, our home is complete and we feel justified in our choice of Tesuque Stucco.
A little caviat you might want to know, we treat all the workers we hire with respect and gratitude. We offered chilled bottled water every 2 hours to Omar and the crew. And we offered Juan bottled water while installed the terra neo.
On the last day of installation, we treated Omar and the crew to pizza and lemonade as an extra way of saying thank you for a great job and your due diligence in working on our home.
At our home, we treat the people working at our house like family. We want them to feel welcome and appreciated.
Now, maybe, we are different than most customers, but we feel if you treat the help with care and compassion, they will do a better job for us.
Overall, we are ecstatic and very impressed, not only by the beautiful product that now adorns our home, but we are even more so, by the professionalism and the great care with which Tesuque Stucco took care of our home.

I had a fabulous experience with Tesuque stucco from beginning to end. With my initial meeting with Ashton, our sales rep, he explained what would be done on our mountain home, what options we had, and how the whole process worked. The office staff were great, including Jordan the office manager, and Sarah. They let us know when work would be starting, and gave me regular updates. When there was a delay due to weather, they even gave me their number to text them in the evening to let them know what the weather was doing.
Omar the foreman, and his crew were great to work with, and kept me abreast on how the work was going. You could tell they were proud of their work, and they would show me around my home to follow along with their progress. The team was always there when they said they would be, and did a great job cleaning up when they were done.
It was definitely a job well done, and I would recommend them highly.

Tesuque Stucco is a wonderful company to work with. We got 3 bids that were all fairly close in price before selecting Tesuque. Our sales rep, Ashton Tarry, sold us on the company. He was great at communicating with us, explaining the process and our options before any work started. He worked with our schedule and was available throughout the job. Tesuque’s office manager Jordan Walls was also great at communicating to me about the job and when the crew would be at the house during the different phases of the job. The crew, headed by the foreman named Benito, got the job done in less time than expected. Benito was responsive to my requests. His crew worked efficiently and neatly for the 5 days they were here. Benito and his men quickly took care of any minor fixes I noticed during our final walkthrough. And once completed, the finished house looks great - it’s only been a few hours and I’ve already gotten compliments from neighbors. If you need stucco work and want to deal with a responsive company, choose Tesuque Stucco.

After a bit of a rocky start, Jordan, Juan, Gethen, Junior and his crew saved our project. And we are SO glad they did because the finished product is absolutely beautiful! Once we established the right point people for communication, everything went very smoothly and we cannot criticize the craftsmanship. These guys know what they are doing and each phase was explained, executed and inspected before the next. We went with a different color, which was a little nerve wracking but Jordan was so helpful and patient in getting us to the perfect shade. The crew worked very hard and were always careful with our home and our dogs. Would definitely recommend.

Tesuque just finished working on our home. They did an excellent job. Their reps communicate better than most other home contractors we have used (and sadly, we have had to use many). They reached out to us regularly at the beginning of workdays and at the end of workdays to assure us that everything was on track and to see if we had questions. They cleaned up nicely each day. No unexpected additional costs or glitches. They honored the schedule we set up with them. In short, all the things about contractors that could annoy you are NOT things that they do. We strongly recommend them.

We got four different stucco estimates before deciding on Tesuque Stucco to re-stucco our home in Tijeras. Although Tesuque was not the lowest bid their degree of detail and attention was far and away better than any other company. Also, they give a 12 year warranty; other companies offer 3 to 5 year warranties.
Our contact person was Ashton Tarry. He's punctual, friendly and knowledgeable with all the detail info when giving a written estimate.
The entire Tesuque team was impressive: Jordan did the phone scheduling with a real effort made to work with her clients to make the experience easier; Javier was the daily stucco team foreman who was personable and ran an efficient team throughout the entire stucco project; Project Mgrs. Juan and Gethen were great at doing any occasional trouble-shooting if weather or other unforeseen events came up; and Junior filled in as an 'acting foreman' when Javier could not be onsite.
We always felt like we were well taken care of, kept informed of progress and expectations, and well listened to. Also, the post stucco work (clean-up) was efficient and thorough.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tesuque to friends and neighbors. Remember when getting estimates: The devil is in the details.

I, and my partner by FaceTime, met with Matt Mossman today and it was a wonderful and educational experience. He examined our home and then explained the type of stucco on our home, the types and differing qualities of stucco available, the special treatment needed because of the type of roof we have—the type of information we need to make decisions regarding timing of re-stuccoing, price of the job, etc. He was thorough, understanding of our concerns, and did not exert any pressure to “get it done right this minute” which was so welcome. After being in our home for 24 years, it had become necessary to have the outside re-stuccoed. After much research and weighing the pros and cons of various companies, we decided to go with Tesuque Stucco. We were impressed with Ashton Tarry, who gave us an estimate. He had personal experience in the industry and was able to answer all our questions. The company bent over backwards during the entire process to please us, from the office staff with Jordan and Sara, to the initial prep with Victor and crew, to the stucco application which was expertly done by Omar and his crew. When they left, everything was cleaned up and put back in place. All our questions and concerns during the job were addressed promptly and professionally. Felipe and his hard working crew did a beautiful job on our home. They arrived on time every day, were very good communicators, left the property picked up and neat at the end of each day and cleaned the dust and debris off windows and sills at the end of the job. Our salesperson, Matt, did a very good job explaining the Tesuque process and we never felt pressured to accept the bid. Matt also continued to check in with us while the work was being done and we were impressed by that.Other members of the Tesuque team checked in with us frequently as well, Jordan from the office and Gethen from the field team. Tesuque did a fantastic stucco job on our 16 year old house and we couldn’t be more pleased. We were worried about how they would handle the parapets and the cracks on our free standing privacy walls and sitting walls which were in bad shape. Omar and Juan explained the process and how they used mesh, a water proof material and a Dryvit synthetic stucco to provide superior stucco job. We were also nervous about them matching the original color before it had faded. The samples looked right but when they first applied it the color was too yellow and did not match the sample. The whole team made sure they got the color right and they did! Everyone was professional and a pleasure to work with. I may not remember everyone’s name, but the team included Omar, Alphonso, Junior, Juan, Gethen and Jordan.
We’ve gotten so many compliments on our stucco job and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a superior stucco job that you will be proud of for years to come. Thank you Tesuque for making our house beautiful again!
